The industrial policy of the Catalan government lends support to both business activity and strategic change, promoting occupational quality and economic competitiveness, as well as research and development, technological innovation and transference, and the international nature of the businesses.

In addition, the Catalonia Investment Agency offers technical back-up adapted to the needs of the companies with investment, re-investment or expansion projects in Catalonia. This support is available at all stages of the project, from the optimisation of the initial investment plan, through the setting up of the activity and follow-up interventions. It also offers companies two specific services: the Business Location Service and the Incentives Advisory Service.
