Location data The Tarragona area is located in the south of Catalonia, only 100 km from Barcelona and 250 km from France, with a population of 450,000 inhabitants and over 10,000 students in several third-level colleges, in the fields of science, technology, engineering, economics and law. It is definitely one of the major concentrations of economic activities in Catalonia, both industry and services, with a large number of energy resources, one of the major and busiest sea ports on the Mediterranean, a major airport serving mainly the tourism industry, and excellent road and rail connections with Europe and the rest of Spain. |
