VistaPrint opens European marketing office in BarcelonaAmerican multinational VistaPrint, specialising in high-quality graphic design services to small businesses and consumers, has opened a marketing office for Europe in the 22@ technology district of Barcelona. The new offices will employ up to 100 people by the end of 2008. This will be VistaPrint's sixth office worldwide, with a total workforce of 700 people and will be in charge of new customers acquisition, market research and analysis, and creative and infrastructure support.
Mr. Robert Keane, founder and CEO of the company affirmed that the Catalonia Investment Agency has provided valuable support in establishing Vistaprint in Barcelona, including advice on incorporation, recruitment and property facilitation. The Catalan capital competed with ten other European cities to become the base for the company's activities. One of the reasons why the company chose Barcelona was the Catalan capital's ability to "attract European talent."
