HP benefits from the talent at its R&D centre in Sant Cugat (Barcelona)Hewlett Packard's Sant Cugat R&D centre is gaining global recognition with the company, officials for the American multinational business said during the recent presentation of a new printing technology in France. In fact, the new printing solution unveiled in Paris is the result of a prototype developed by the Sant Cugat centre six years ago, an invention that would change dramatically the large-format printer market thanks to its superior speed and profitability.
Each year, engineers at Sant Cugat register around 100 patents and inventions, which are later developed within the network of HP's R&D centres throughout the world.
