Recent Investments

Schenken's Bax Global unit has chosen Riudellots de la Selva to set up the distribution centre for the group's high-tech business unit. Bax Global has invested 2.5 million euros in facilities of around 11,000 square meters and has a direct workforce of 45 people. Indirect jobs stand at 73 posts. Bax Global's distribution centre is to manage a maximum of 15,000 boxes per day and it has already achieved a production of 3,500 boxes daily. The new plant has now one productive shift work and a team for inventory and supplying.

The move, which is part of the conglomerate's strategy to set foot in Catalonia, has received the support from the Catalan Investment Agency, an entity depending on the Ministry of Innovation, University and Enterprise of the Catalan Government.
