Confidence among Catalan businesses has reached a seven-year high during April, according to the Catalan Government's Department of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise. The Catalan business confidence index stood at 4.9%, a recovery of over six percentage points compared to the same period a year earlier. The increase in the business confidence index reflects a rise in demand, with national and international orders growing four percentage points.
