A big part of that amount will go to strengthen its telesales center in Barcelona, which is to receive an investment of 21 million euros. The Barcelona center covers the needs of 11 European countries and later this year is expected to reach a workforce of nearly 100 people, compared to only 36 workers in 2006.
The remaing resources will be used to adapt and translate SAP's software into the Catalan language and to consolidate the business activity in the region. SAP offers its services to around 900 Catalan companies.
