Wine association Covides invests 5 million euros to increase capacityPenedès Wine Cooperative Covides has invested 5 million euros in the installation of a new bottling facility, capable of managing up to 5,000 bottles per hour. Covides has also extended its wine vault with an additional 2,700 square meters, a move that will allow it to keep up to 10,000 bottles under ground, according to Ricard Gil, Covides' general manager.
The Cooperative produces the Duc de Foix brand and is one of Spain's five leading cooperative associations with a production of over 30 million kilos of grapes.
