Recent Investments

Decal Spain is to invest 28.2 million euros to build a bio-diesel plant at Barcelona's main port facility. The Port Authority of Barcelona had to amend the initial concession in order to allow the construction of the new facilities. The plant will produce around 250,000 tons of vegetable oils and 25,000 of ethanol. Around 60% of the production is to be shipped by sea.

Decal is also to invest 2.3 million euros to upgrade its terminal and logistic facilities. Decal was granted a 30-year concession in 1998. Last year the company posted revenue of 18.5 million euros.
