Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (GSE) starts Master's degree programs in the Catalan capital

The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics has started its first academic course with about 100 international students in four Master's programs, GSE President Andreu Mas-Colell announced.

The Barcelona GSE is a private foundation that is privileged to draw on the resources of its founding academic institutions: Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Instituto de Análisis Económico (IAE), Centro de Investigación en Economía Internacional (CREI) and some other private organizations. Barcelona GSE intends to do for the study of Economics what other schools, such as IESE and ESADE, have done for the study of Business Administration. It is a school that focuses in preparing elite economists for multinational companies, Mr. Mas-Colell said.
