Barcelona's El Prat airport has seen a 10.3% increase in passenger traffic this year, to 25.2 million, according to data from AENA. In September, El Prat received 3.1 million passengers, a 11% jump compared to the same month a year earlier. As for operations, El Prat registered 30,713 flights in September, with a total of 267,868 operations for the first nine months of 2007. Also, Girona's Costa Brava airport saw 478,779 passengers during September, an increase of 35.9% compared to the same period a year earlier. The Girona airport has registered a total of 3.7 million passengers so far this year.
