Grifols to invest 400 million euros in the next five yearsHealth services company Grifols is to invest 400 million euros in the next five years to increase its production and plasma collection facilities. About 230 million euros will be invested in plants in Spain and the United States in order to strengthen the production and sales during the period 2008-2012. Grifols indicated that some 130 million euros will be used in the construction of a new fibrin glue (a biological adhesive) facility in Parets del Vallès (Barcelona). Other investments include the expansion of the albumin and coagulation factor VIII purification areas.
