Recent Investments

Japanese multinational company Sony has opened in Barcelona its second European Sony Style store, a new concept in consumer electronics. The company has set up the store in the traditional Rambla de Catalunya in Barcelona, where it will offer the latest in technology in 700 square meters of space. Sony has invested two million euros in the new store that will provide work to 21 people.

The Sony Style store is a "business experience" that the Japanese multinational has already established in cities such as Hong Kong, Buenos Aires or Berlin. The goal is to offer an open space where people can see, touch and use the whole range of Sony products. The Sony Style also acts as a lab to find new ways to exhibit electronic products.

Sony has its Spanish headquarters in Catalonia, with a team of 400 people. The company also has a distribution center in Castellar del Vallès and the Barcelona Technology Center in Viladecans, with a workforce of 2,500 people.
