Koerner develops a new system to recycle airbags and seatbeltsEngineering company Koerner has developed a new system to recycle airbags and car seatbelts, using a new mechanism to destroy and recycle flawed components. The company received the support of the Catalan Investment Agency (ACI), an entity depending on the Catalan government. The new technology is to be used at Koerner's facilities in Santa Margarida i els Monjos (Alt Penedès). The company started its business in 1984 is a leader in design of bodywork materials in Spain and Portugal.
