Recent Investments

French pharmaceutical company Ipsen Pharma is to build at the Parc Mediterrani de la Tecnologia, in Castelldefels, its new Spanish headquarters. Ipsen also plans to establish a new R&D center, with a total investment of about 12 million euros.

The new facilities, which are expected to be in operation by late 2009, will provide about 7,000 square meters. The land will be provided by the Catalan government through a 40-year extendable contract. Ipsen Pharma, which specializes in medication for cancer and muscular diseases, wants to strengthen its Spanish team, who is responsible for the development of some of the company's key products.
