22 million euros investment for a new R&D center in Tarragona

The Spanish and Catalan governments plan to invest 22 million euros to set up a new R&D center for sustainable chemistry in Tarragona.

The new complex, offering 6,000 square meters, is to be located next to the Chemistry Technology Center, a project sponsored by Rovira Virgili university and the Catalan agency CIDEM, with the support of the Industry Ministry. The Tarragona region controls around 47% of all Spanish production for the chemical industry.
