Relevant Events

Alimentaria, the world's second largest food fair, has celebrated its 40th edition with a record attendance and the prospects of taking first place in the near future thanks to its solid growth. Alimentaria received some 158,000 participants this year, with exhibition space reaching 131,000 square meters, a 7.5% increase compared to 2007. Alimentaria continues to consolidate the presence of foreign companies. This year about 30% of participating companies came from outside Catalonia and Spain.
