Toshiba transfers to Barcelona a call center for Spanish clientsJapanese multinational Toshiba has announced that it is moving from Toronto (Canada) to Barcelona its customer service center for the Spanish market. The new center will be in charge of Sitel and it is expected to hire around 20 people.
Toshiba's vice president for Southern Europe Xavier Pascual explained that the company wishes to increase its growth in Catalonia. "The move to Barcelona aims to be closer to the Spanish customer and offer a better service," Mr. Pascual added. Toshiba's customer service will be offered in Catalan and Spanish, the two most widely spoken languages in Spain, added Alberto Ruano, CEO.
