Fawoo to install a technology center in BarcelonaKorean multinational company Fawoo has chosen Barcelona to set up its first European plant. Fawoo, which operates under the brand Lumisheet, specializes in the design and development of high-tech lighting solutions. The new Barcelona center is to focus on lighting products aimed to improve energy efficiency, reduce CO2 emissions and eliminate the use of mercury.
Fawoo is one of the world's leading suppliers of light panels for plasma TV screens and liquid crystal displays for computers. The company received support and technical assistance from Catalonia's Cidem and Copca and the ACC1Ó program.
