| Under the slogan "Quality has no price, it has a prize", the presentation ceremony of the Government of Catalonia Quality Awards took place in Girona on the 8th of July 2002. The Secretary-general of the Department of Industry, Trade and Turism Sr. Oriol Pujol; and the General Manager of Industry Sr. Antoni Gurguí. In the thirteenth edition of the awards, the Government of Catalonia awarded six Catalan companies of different sectors and sizes. These companies have worked hard to increase their competitivity level and, therefore, they can set an example for other companies:
