The presentation ceremony of the Government of Catalonia Quality Awards took place in Tarragona on the 3d of July 2003.
In this fourteenth edition, the Government of Catalonia awarded eight Catalan companies from different sectors and size. These companies have worked hard to increase their competitivity level and, they can set an example for other companies:
All companies located in Catalonia can be awarded with the Quality Award. This award is awarded by a panel of judges linked to the business environment. According to the excellence model in the management of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), the judges analyze the evolution of the company with a view to different indicators as the objectives of its strategic plan, the reengineering of processes, the use of new technologies, the management of the environment and the staff, the guidance offered to customers and the creation of new products.
