Awards 2004

The presentation ceremony of the Government of Catalonia Quality Awards took place in the Theater of the Liceu in Barcelona on the 2d december 2004.

In this fifteenth edition, the Government of Catalonia awarded four Catalan companies from different sectors and size. These companies have worked hard to increase their competitivity level and, they can set an example for other companies:

Esteve Química, SA (Catalan version)
Fundació Privada Integralia (Catalan version)
Grup d'Assistència Sanitària i Social, SA -SAGESSA- (Catalan version)
NRG Group Spain, SA (Catalan version)

All companies located in Catalonia can be awarded with the Quality Award. This award is awarded by panel of judges linked to the business environment. According to the excellence model in the management of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), the judges analyze the evolution of the company with a view to different indicators as the objectives of its strategic plan, the reengineering of processes, the use of new technologies, the management of the environment and the staff, the guidance offered to customers and the creation of new products.

The finalists have been: Centre d'Estudis SAE, Hospital General de l'Hospitalet del Consorci Sanitari Integral and Institut Municipal d'Assistència Sanitària - Escola Bonanova de Formació Professional (Catalan version).
