Most of the programs of promotion and support for the creation of new companies trust on the persons who make the technological discovery to be the creators of the company and the businessmen.

The CIDEM is collaborating with the main Catalan business schools in order to find the way to put those persons who bring new technological offers in contact with those who have a business training, knowledge and want to start up or manage new firms.

The "Equilibra el teu projecte" ("Balance your project") program starts in autumn 2006 and will immediately start an interdisciplinary collaboration during a certain period of time between technological entrepreneurs and people with business school training. 2 presentation sessions will be held in October, one in IESE and the other one in ESADE. Both sessions will present technology-based projects which have an incomplete team and need to incorporate people with business knowledge. The audience will be made up of entrepreneurship students. Through knowledge and collaboration each part will achieve:

• The project will be able to write a solid business plan with a wide view towards the market opportunities which could be viable for the proposed business model.
• The students' team will be able to write the necessary business plan around an innovating business model and with a market high potential.  

Collaboration in the entrepreneurship subjects will be held until January. Business plans will be handed in also in January. During this period, the CIDEM and the business schools will ensure the collaboration and harmony between both parts.
